I’m a good audience for this paper because I don’t think I would have picked up on these vibes and yet through the clip reel you created and through the paper, you’ve convinced me! In the clip reel, it was the meaningful looks that seemed the most compelling to me. A close second was the fact that Finn seems like wallpaper compared to Quinn & Rachel, which seems to beg the question, “What do either of them see in him?” And, in your paper, your analysis is so detailed and well thought out (down to the symbolism of gardenias), that one for the most part can’t help but follow your logic. (In fact, in one part, your reasoning reminded me of the way Ian Abrams constructs an argument for character motivation, and no one can make a case better than Ian!) So my question is—what happened in the finale? I assume that will be covered in the final paper, which I look forward to!

My TV Drama professor’s comments on the rough draft of my essay on Faberry.
So not only have I converted her into a Faberry shipper, but she’s lifted the 7 page maximum and told me I’m allowed to write as much as necessary to get my points across. This is excellent.
Also Finn seems like wallpaper. I am laughing.
